Chef Davit Poghosyan
Hello, I’m Davit Poghosyan, a 27-year-old Armenian chef with over a decade of experience in the culinary industry. Born and raised in Yerevan, my passion for cooking began in my grandmother’s bakery, where I was first introduced to the deep-rooted traditions of Armenian cuisine.
With a strong respect for heritage and a drive for innovation, I have immersed myself in Armenian culinary history, studying antique cookbooks to rediscover and reinterpret classic recipes. My work is particularly recognized for my exploration of Tolma, through which I have crafted more than 15 distinct variations, blending tradition with modern techniques.
I have completed my culinary studies at École Ducasse in Paris, where I refined my technical skills and contemporary approach to gastronomy.
Beyond the kitchen, I actively promote Armenian food culture internationally by organizing and hosting special dinners abroad, introducing global audiences to Armenia’s rich flavors and culinary heritage. Through my work, I aim to bridge tradition and modern culinary artistry, sharing Armenian cuisine with the world.
